Nantongo Denise is 5 years old and in Nursery Class. Denise is reserved but talks when asked questions. She lives with her parents and two siblings, Rehema (23), John (20), Paul (18), and Daniel (8). Denise’s mother struggles with pain in her right leg, which affects her ability to walk. Both parents are peasants. Denise is generally healthy. Her favorite food is rice and chicken, her favorite color is blue, and she enjoys playing netball. Her best friend is Maria, and she enjoys learning the alphabet. Denise hopes to become a chef
